JORGE VIDAL TOMAS (Spain) Location:Desert. Extreme Situation:A very arid and hot region where sand storms are frequently experienced. Proposal: A hole-space is created among the mobile dunes in the desert. Departing from the idea that it is impossible to operate a single door on the façade because of the movement of the sand, going up and down, the facade proposed is a wall made of doors. Not only has this facade contained these doors but also 120 bedrooms. These rooms make up the patio elevation (making positive and negative). A spiral ramp descends to the garden with water.
