LIU JUNYI, WU BIN, LIU YU, LIN DAN, SUN ZHE, LI JI (PR of China) Location:Old Hankou, Wuhan, PR of China. Extreme Situation:The serious conflict between commerce and residence in the inner city, which results in a problematic decrease in the recreation and leaisure spaces for local residents. Proposal: Walls crossing the whole site are created. On one hand, wall's attribute of isolation can be used to prevent commerce from encroaching more residential spaces; on the other hand, the walls have characteristic of non-isolation, which makes various recreation/leisure activities possible.
